The Oscar winning actress Halle Berry has very recently launched her own new perfume scent range called “Halle”. The star has been planning to release the perfume for a while now and says that it has been in development for over 2 years. Halle has suggested that the fragrance took such a long time to get right and get onto the market because she was very careful about overseeing ever element of it. She confessed that it took a long time to diffuse her personality into the perfume and many fine changes were made along the way.

Halle is now very happy with the end result, stating “its’ a real, true expression of who I am”. The aroma has notes of vanilla and sandalwood flavours and is classed as an woody oriental perfume. The fragrance also includes mimosa and fig and has undertones of pear blossom, bergamot and freesia. To increase the richness and spiciness of the scent, Halle included some olibanum, an African root as a final include.

The product claims it will be the most natural product in the perfume shop because it contains no harsh or processed ingredients. This is something that Halle demonstrated very clearly when she drunk a sample of her perfume on a recent Ellen DeGeneres TV Show.Ellen was the one who first took the bottle and tasted it but when she leaned over and handed a glass to Halle, the star took it an happily accepted the offer as well. After the show Halle commented that although it didn’t have the nicest taste, she was confident that it wouldn’t do any harm because the ingredients are only things found in nature. Halle also said the if a products was not good for nature or was harmful to any part of the body then she would not have her name on the label.

Halle by Halle Berry will be available in a complete range of sizes and will be accompanied by a range of body products and perfume gifts
